Hi. At the Squared Circle Podcast Hub, we are respectful and thoughtful with our comments.
Please do not tell me what I SHOULD say to please everyone else when my content isn't about being neutral but giving perspectives no one has thought about...yet. I don't ever say that the fans listening should agree with me or think like me or share my opinion.
If you offered a different perspective on 'how enjoy all wrestling' is good for the community then we'll be having a different conversation. But that's not happening. Instead you're trying to control speech over finding a feeling.
The big picture issue is about the enjoy all wrestling crowd and how it's bad for the community. We all know that enjoy all wrestling isn't feesible & no other community does this & only hobby wrestlers that log onto Twitter every 3-6 months says this because they haven't tailored their timelines, do so in a sweeping way to disregard the constructive criticism myself & others share. They also don't want to improve.
On this podcast & content creation, it's a 'we' thing. Not an 'I' thing. The phrase enjoy all wrestling has been bothersome for years, and over the years fans are exhausted with it, thus making it a WE conversation. And we're pushing back on the idea of enjoy all wrestling. The few who "can enjoy all wrestling" are scared of not being part of friend groups or accepted. Enjoy all wrestling hurts wrestling more because it forces toxic positivity & NO ONE grows from that.
That's the main point & perspective & it shouldn't be focused on trying to find a feeling within the words & not understanding the bigger picture being presented.
Ok first you make it sound like everyone should share your opinion which is very close minded of you. I understand your annoyance but no need to come off as condescending! While most can't brung themselves to "enjoy all forms of entertainment " that does not mean they do not have the right to try so kindly rephrase and say YOU do not enjoy all forms of wrestling.
However with all that said I do agree that Tony's booking is a detriment to the development of the roster. Signing established wrestlers is not an issue but developing new stars is vital and Tony has failed to develop anyone.
He also has a bad tendacy to book established guys to lose every bloody time. Look at Jay Lethal for example. A former ROH world champion and he has been reduced toba bloody jobber!
The fact that no one within the company complains about this bs and seemingly encourages Tony's nonsense makes the situation worse. I understand wanting to have fun but you need to take your business seriously ! At this point anyone who goes to aew will be F.

Thanks for the comment though.
