🔊 🍺100 Proof 🍺Clark Connors Interview🔊

Audio version. 100 Proof Clark Connors returns with some choice words for United Empire as it's BC vs UE on June 10th, working with Finlay, War Dogs, Forbidden Door 2 and more.

A Chit Chat with 100 Proof Clark Connors is the update we all needed. In the world of professional wrestling, wrestlers often find themselves on the constant change. Sometimes, things are out of their control. Sometimes not. Sometimes, change is for the better. Sometimes not. I dare say that 100 Proof Clark Connors made all the right decisions aligning himself with Bullet Club leader David Finlay.

On gaining Finlay’s trust and joining Bullet Club

What he told me was…is kind of along the lines of the bring bodies type situation. But he wanted me to show that I could cut my ties from the past just like he did with Jay, you know his old young lion mate. You know someone he grew up in his business with and so he was with the pick a time and prove it. Busted DKC's head wide open, you know at Capital Collision, and it just made sense. I was walking back to my locker, into the locker room and Dave Finlay was on his way out to his match and he just gave me a look and he nodded at me and from there that's all I knew was like all right well I'm in this bad boy.

On TJP and Akira - Catch 22

I just think TJP, you know he, first of all he was the one who turned on me. You know which they join the United Empire he made me an example. We were our tag team together with things were going fine and then Will Ospreay gives him one phone call he decides to better his career and turns on me and in Dallas and that didn't sit well with me. That was the greatest lesson TJP could have ever showed me was that you should turn on people, you should figure out what's best for you, do what's best for you.

And Akira is just like Dan said in his promo backstage: he is a dork. I think he's a geek and you know he fits in perfectly TJP and so he'll listen to whatever TJ says and all I'm gonna say is: Akira buddy just be careful because that guy's a snake.

On Bullet Club Gold in AEW

The fact that it's called Bullet Club Gold means it's not the original. Some knockoff or something. How they got the rights to, how they're using Bullet Club, I don't know I think it's bullshit it's an offense to what Bullet Club is.

I'm in the real Bullet Club.

Clark Connors gave us his time and energy to help answer the tough questions about Bullet Club’s current state, remind everyone the vision for Bullet Club under Finlay, why he joined, why others joined, taking over NJPW, and Forbidden Door 2.

Clark Connors discusses this and more in the new interview which is available in video and audio formats. In the event that another reporter or content creator wishes to use these quotes in their own original article, please source and cite correctly the original creation: Marie Shadows - Squared Circle Podcast and Squared Circle Society.
