WWE Money In The Bank 2024 Review

Cash-in. Failure. Retirement. WWE Money In The Bank 2024 changed lives, further storylines, but yet fans complain. Here's Marie Shadows review.

Hello everyone,

The Internet Wrestling Community has been on a roll with saying whatever they wish lately knowing they will get a reaction and may or may not get paid by Elon by having a blue checkmark.

July 6, 2024 was WWE’s PPV Money In The Bank in Canada. Triple H promised fans that lives were going to change. We had surprises such as Tiffany Straton winning her money in the bank match. Drew McIntyre winning. Solo getting the pin on Cody Rhodes. Damien Priest and Seth Rollins having a good match with a cool surprise and sequence. Sami Zayn retaining.

Money In The Bank 2024 was a fun PPV with the best top 5 matches. Timing is everything. But fans wanted to turn something fun into something negative. During the PPV, Drew McIntyre won the briefcase and people didn’t like that especially when he cashed in.

Many fans online were complaining about the cash-in on a Money In The Bank PPV. Other wrestlers cashed in on the same day. Other wrestlers kept the briefcase for however long they needed too until they cashed in. Why would Drew McIntyre not cash in on the same night? He didn’t win the championship back during the Damien Priest vs Seth Rollins match, but it helped push the ongoing story.

WWE is all about pushing stories they are dedicated to exploring. Other wrestlers are only beginning their story journeys and if one of the other wrestlers got the briefcase, it wouldn’t benefit them. I explain why in my reivew.

However, during the Damien Priest vs Seth Rollins match, Damien didn’t kick out. It was obvious. A simple camera mistake to show. However, Seth Rollins did the buckle bomb to Damien Priest and followed it up with a sequence of who could suplex who and Seth managed to do the Falcon Arrow to Damien. Damien was probably knocked out and loopy, and so the referee — Rod — saved the match by NOT counting to 3. If the ref counted to 3, the stipulation would have become effective. The stipulation was: if Priest loses, he leaves Judgment Day. That’s not the story WWE is trying to tell with everyone involved: Seth Rollins, Damien Priest (World Heavyweight Champion), CM Punk, and Drew McIntyre.

Wrestling fans in their bubble of fantasy booking often complain about not getting what THEY want when the outcome is different from their dreams. There’s a reason why The Bloodline story is so intriguing and it’s strong. When you think you have the answer, WWE continues to keep adding something we didn’t see or think about and we are along for the ride.

WWE doesn’t just skip to the finish line. AEW skips to the finish line.
