WWE Announces New Broadcasting Deal with Japan!

RAW, Smackdown, WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Fastlane will be broadcasted in Japan!

WWE released a press release announcing a new media partnership with Japan’s ABEMA. ABEMA is a Japanese streaming platform.

As per the press release and agreement between the two companies, WWE’s flagship shows like RAW and Smackdown will start streaming on ABEMA with Japanese commentary.

Other Premium Live Events (PLE) will be added to the streaming network. Japan will get WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Fastline. Other PLE’s will probably showcase later. NXT will be available to ABEMA viewers as video on demand.

This will begin in October 2023.

This is a great move for WWE and Japan as it expands on both fanbases.
