Triple H Makes Announcement on WWE RAW

Triple H unveils a new championship and when WWE will crown a new champion.

Monday Night RAW is live from Chicago. Chi-town has a lot of wrestling history and memories. On Monday Night RAW (4.24.23), Triple H came out to announce a special surprise for all of us.

The Draft is this Friday on Smackdown and will continue on next Monday Night RAW. Triple H mentioned that when Roman Reigns gets drafted, he will be taking the championships with him and stay on that brand permanently. Roman Reigns will continue to be our Universal WWE Champion.

Roman Reigns won the WWE Universal Championship which is the blue championship that belongs on Smackdown and then won the WWE Championship which is the black championship that belongs on RAW and WWE management decided to combine the two to get the Undisputed Universal WWE Champion.

Triple H mentions that the WWE Universe deserves better and deserves a champion. He gave Roman Reigns props for being champion for 1000 days, but a change needed to happen.

WWE will host Night of Champions in Saudi Arbia on May 27, 2023. Triple H reveals the new World Heavyweight Championship and says that WWE will crown a new champion at Night of Champions. This champion will be worthy of the championship, be respected rather demanding respect, and will be defended all of over the world at any play and at any time.

Triple H didn’t reveal yet if there will be a tournament. We’ll see in the upcoming weeks what will happen.
