📬 Wrestle Sheet: Empire Shaken, Rock Blamed, WrestleMania Reactions

Hey everyone—Marie here, and you already know what time it is.

If you missed the live stream, don’t worry—I’ve got the full breakdown right here. From Jeff Cobb bouncing out of New Japan, to TJP’s wife doing way too much online, to people somehow blaming The Rock for not showing up at WrestleMania 41—it’s been a wild week in wrestling. Let’s get into it.

💥 Jeff Cobb’s Out, United Empire Cracks

Aria Blake (Aria Perkins) made it official for Jeff Cobb: he's out of NJPW and out of United Empire and headed to WWE. But instead of celebrating the man’s next move, some folks acted like he betrayed their firstborn. He dropped a farewell tweet and didn’t mention TJP—nowhere in that tweet. That was enough to set the internet on fire.

TJP and Jeff had some back-and-forth on the timeline, cool. But then TJP’s wife—Aria Blake, who yes, is technically in wrestling but barely (by my count)—jumped in. She’s not part of the faction. She’s not an on-screen character in this story. She’s not working for or a part of New Japan Pro Wrestling. But she inserted herself into something that didn't concern her and went straight for the jugular, telling Jeff Cobb to unalive himself.

Yeah. That happened.

That’s not wrestling heat. That’s personal and dangerous. And I don’t care what “side” you're on—there’s no excuse for that.

Watch here: (51 mins in - I show the tweets)

🔄 TJP’s Freelancer Status Means...Not Much

We also found out TJP’s still a freelancer with NJPW, which makes this whole meltdown even messier. He’s not locked into anything. Freelancers in New Japan come and go all the time. Just because you get a tour doesn’t mean you’re long-term.

So now we’ve got one foot out the door, and one already gone. United Empire’s looking less like a faction and more like a memory.

🧠 Stop Calling WWE “The Fed”—You Sound Stuck

Let me say this real clear: if you’re still out here calling WWE “The Fed” like it’s some sort of insult...grow up. That’s some high school mentality.

Say their name. WWE. It’s not edgy to pretend like they don’t matter. They’ve always had wrestling. They still do. You may not like their style or their stories, but don’t act like they’re not a pillar of this industry.

🎬 WrestleMania 41: The Rock Didn’t Show Up—And That’s Fine

Now, onto the big one: everyone blaming The Rock for WrestleMania 41. Let me ask you—what was he supposed to do?

The man said it himself. He wanted John Cena and Cody Rhodes to have the moment. He didn’t want to overshadow them. And he’s right. If he popped up at Mania, that’s all we’d be talking about. Not Cody. Not Cena’s 17th title. Just The Rock.

So no, he didn’t ghost us. He made the smart move.

🧩 He’s the Final Boss—Let Him Build

Remember when we were all buzzing about The Rock in the NJPW shirt? Everyone was hyped. Talking deals, partnerships, Jeff Cobb possibly coming in under The Rock’s wing. We were in agreement.

Fast forward, and now we’re turning on him?

He’s the final boss. Final bosses don’t show up in the middle of the story. Let the man work in the shadows. Let him pull strings. When it’s time, he’ll step through that curtain.

🎤 Cena vs. Cody Felt Off to Me—But That’s Not on The Rock

Look—I’m just going to say it: the match between John Cena and Cody Rhodes? It felt like it was missing something. And yeah, I’ll admit it—it felt like it was missing The Rock. But that doesn’t mean his absence was the problem.

The Rock chose not to be there. He said he didn’t want to take away from Cena and Cody, and he didn’t. That’s the right move. If he had shown up, we wouldn’t even be talking about Cena’s 17th world title win right now—we’d be talking about The Rock. That’s not what this moment needed.

People are acting like The Rock ruined WrestleMania by staying home. No. You just didn’t like the finish. Say that and move on.

And while we’re here—Travis Scott didn’t need to be there either. I don’t know what that was about. Every time I see him, I expect The Rock to be right behind him. Travis is still a civilian in this business. Until he trains and shows us what he can actually do in the ring, I’m not sold. He’s not Bad Bunny.

📋 WrestleMania Review – Quick Hits

Jey Uso vs. Gunther
We finally got Jey with the World Heavyweight Championship. Long overdue. But producers—give the man more time. All that YEET energy eats into match length.

New Day vs. War Raiders
Fun but filler. Could’ve been on RAW. Still, happy for New Day.

Jade Cargill vs. Naomi
Jade’s improving, but I think Naomi should’ve won. Naomi’s new heel energy is 🔥 and Bianca entering the picture could spice it up.

Jacob Fatu vs. LA Knight
This? This was a moment. Fatu killed it. WrestleMania debut, title win, presence. Let’s go.

El Grande Americano vs. Rey Fenix
Y’all need to stop clutching your pearls. Wrestling’s always had masked chaos. This isn’t new. It’s just fun.

  • Hulk Hogan - Mr. America

  • Edge and Christian - The Conquistadors

  • JBL riding along the border to "deport” Mexicans as a skit when he faced Eddie Guerrero

🗯️ The IWC Needs to Chill

Can we all just take a breath?

The Rock didn’t bury Triple H. He didn’t duck the show. He made a decision to step back and let Cena and Cody get their shine. That’s it.

But the internet needs a villain. And they chose The Rock because their fantasy booking didn’t play out. Not everything needs to be a scandal.
