This is a snippet of my rant over Hangman’s promo calling out Okada for Forbidden and completely OVERLOOKING KING SWITCH, SWITCHBLADE JAY WHITE!
Jay White has way more accolades than Hangman Adam Page. And having Hangman vs Okada would be for what? For that IWGP Heavyweight Championship? There’s story going on in New Japan. Sorry if AEW doesn’t know what stories are. It’s the same way when wrestlers jumped in front of Ospreay for a shot at that IWGP US Championship.
Hangman fighting Okada will not help his “bounce back” after suffering a loss against CM Punk.
I just think wrestlers and fans need to stop overlooking Jay White and going straight to the championship holder. Jay White felt well respected in IMPACT Wrestling than he does in AEW for the small time he’s been there and even in spirit since Hangman wants to overlook him.
