Changes To My Content

Let's chat about 2023 on a Monday.

Happy Monday! Hope all is well. I have some news to talk about. Some changes to my content. Get ready.

1. I will no longer review All Elite Wrestling. I will no longer talk about it. I’ll have one last podcast to wrap up my thoughts and wish them well. I’m frustrated with their booking decisions and the Internet Wrestling Community’s stupid arguments that make no sense and their thoughts are regurgitated from the dirt sheets. However, if someone really wants me to talk about AEW, there will be a fee:
   Twitch: Tier 3 sub - $24.99
   Ko-fi commission: $30
   Other than that, I’m focusing on things that make me happy.

2. New Japan Pro Wrestling is the goal. The goal is to get hired. First, I want to get some writing on their website. I want to work my way up. Expect more NJPW coverage. NJPW regular programming and NJPW Strong. I’ll try to interview as much NJPW wrestlers as possible.

3. More focus on companies I didn’t review this year like MLW and IMPACT Wrestling. I feel so bad about this one. Stupid AEW backstage drama.

4. Work with my connections on the indies to get more content for everyone.

5. Watching more wrestling on my Twitch channel while doing everything else: podcasting, cheering on my friends in the podcasting world, writing, editing, uploading, video making — all that.

6. Publish my poetry, my wrestling novel I’ve been forever talking about, maybe my mini chapter sci-fi/cyberpunk-esque story.

7. Collab with more of my peers: guest posts

Let’s talk about Substack Chat.

I’ll be introducing a brand new addition to my Substack publication soon. If I can come up with the first thread. lol.

The Substack Chat will be treated as a group chat or a live hangout, and it’s available to all my readers. However, you need the app! Chapter 1

Starlight Town pulsed with life and I hung out on a rooftop somewhere in The Eastern Slums observant like a hawk. It's not like I didn't know Starlight Town well — oh! I know Starlight Town where celebrities and influencers rise and are placed on pedestals more than the poor — I just don't care about the exact location. 

The sun goes down and pumps a booming heartbeat lasting until the sun rises. Rhythms I often find myself falling for. Rhythms that wiggle from a person's aura and with my nifty augmented eyes, I can understand what the wavy dance colors mean. 

I'm known as a seer, but I don't accept it. 

It's called a blessing. I've seen the blessings first hand but I don't believe it's a blessing.

It's called a curse. I've experienced the curse plenty of times. I'm overdue for an eye replacement. But I don't believe it's a curse. 

I lost my sight at 5 years old and couldn't get eyes — the Kurdale brand — a year and a half later. At 5 years old I saw the world differently and now I'm immune. Nothing surprises me. It's the same.

I don’t want to feel like I’m talking to a wall and that the work I create isn’t good enough thus I get crickets. I over think. A little encouragement or comments or thoughts help ease an overthinker. Having a wrestling Substack is super niche in Substack and I need all the help I can get and that starts with you.
