World Wrestling Entertainment’s announced that their major rights deals are about to come up for renewal, and so speculation ran wild all over the internet. Earlier this year, WWE hired Raine Group to help with strategic planning alternatives to see who’s a good buyer for WWE. A list of potential companies wanted to buy WWE. Vince McMahon decided to priced WWE at $9.3 billion.
During the afternoon of April 2, 2023, the breaking news would drop and turn the wrestling world upside down. And this was during night 2 of WrestleMania 39.
BREAKING NEWS: ENDEAVOR BUYS WWE!
The merged companies are valued at $21 billion dollars.
Ari Emanuel will remain the CEO of Endeavor.
Endeavor is the parent company to the UFC.
Dana White will remain the CEO of UFC.
Ari Emanuel own 51%. Vince McMahon/WWE owns 40%.
Eleven board members will be appointed at a later date. Endeavor will choose six while WWE will choose five.
Endeavor has nothing to do with WWE Creative.
