AEW Expands Talent Relations and Coaching Teams
AEW sent out a press release detailing who will be involved and what their positions mean.
On the morning of August 3, 2022, AEW sent out a press release to inform the world that the company has expanded their departments. AEW has increased and promoted staff members to the Talent Relations and Developing departments. Since the beginning of All Elite Wrestling, these areas were lacking in leadership and staff members which often resulted in a single member wearing multiple hats in order to fully execute their job description. Now that AEW is a three-year-old company, finally delegating appropriate staff members to help balance the day-to-day tasks is a step in the right direction. Below is the Press Release.
Sonjay Dutt is VP of Production and Creative Coordinator.
QT Marshall is VP of Show and Creative Coordinator. He’s also still head trainer at the Nightmare Factory training wrestlers like Anthony Ogogo, Aaron Solo, Nick Comoroto, and Cole Karter.
Pat Buck is VP of Talent Department. He oversees all and liaison with talent.
Tony Schiavone is promoted to Senior Producer and Special Advisor to Talent. He’ll still be on commentary on AEW Dynamite and Rampage.
Madison Rayne is the newest and non-AEW member to be added as a coach for the AEW Women’s Division. Madison Rayne was previously in IMPACT Wrestling. Not sure if her contract is up, but this is an interesting move for her and AEW. AEW had a partnership with IMPACT Wrestling during 2020-2021 that the wrestling world would agree didn’t go so well. Madison Rayne is a renowned champion, however.
Christopher Daniels will continue as Manager to Talent Relations.
This is a good step in the right direction for All Elite Wrestling.
I agree this is a good step in the right direction. I think they've realized that having Tony run literally everything makes him overextended and the product suffers. Granted, we have some big injuries right now in AEW, but the product is going through a pretty big lull and there's tons of talent there so there's no excuse for each show not to be a complete banger. With WWE stepping up their game with the Kross return last night, I think it's safe to say "shots fired!"
