Forbidden Door PPV was live on Sunday, June 26th. This was an AEW event with guest partnership promotion New Japan Pro Wrestling. Overall, the buildup to this ppv was bad. It could’ve been better given that this event was announced way in advance. However, with the help of the NJPW wrestlers, that’s the reason why this PPV was a success. Every podcaster I know already talked about the Forbidden Door PPV in full so I’m giving my insight on the 2 things I disliked about Forbidden Door.
Highlights:
FTR wins all the gold via the WWE formula.
Why I don’t like Dax Hardwood.
Booking idea for FTR to build their fued with Jeff Cobb & Great-O-Khan to meet at World Tag League.
Young Bucks should have been in the winner takes all triple threat tag team match and won.
Young Bucks are burnt out.
One day I want FTR to break up.
